*Insert intense battle music here*
I actually started this, like...three years ago, when White and Black came out. I did all the roughs, and it looked neat, and I was actually kind of getting into working on it....Then homework happened, then two years more of homework happened, then I graduated, and I forgot it existed until this week :|
Anyways, this was based on my battle with Skyla at the Mistralton gym. I went in to battle with my faithful zebstrika, Albert (shamelessly named after the plush zebra I've had since I was, like...two.) So the battle was super easy anyways. But when Skyla sends out her Swanna, first move it uses is Aqua Ring.
Cause when fighting any sort of electricity, the most sensible thing to do is COAT YOURSELF IN WATER. :|
I know it was all just part of the games programming and all that shit, but it still had me in tears thinking about it for a month after the fact :|

Y'know I've wondered about that. Cause if you played, Silver or Soul silver. They would always use the weirdest moves regardless of your type. I mean, turns out that even Dragon types that fly are sorta weak to lightning (Lurved my Amphoros) she was eeevil in that sense. Though that Garchomp *twitch*
S'far as I've noticed, the games have definitely gotten smarter in battle science, though that's to be expected with the change in technology (this could just be my personal experience though :|) Only as recently as Diamond and Pearl (not too recent, but enough so) have I actually started paying attention to the pokemon types I take into gyms with me. Before that, I could usually get away with any random group of pokemon, as long as their levels were high enough (discluding Winona and her FUUUUCKING ALTARIA! DX)
