The funny thing about deer: hitting them tends to cause more damage to the car than the deer itself (at least from what I've seen).

yea, its so weird, but it is a good way o gittin free meat with out havin a hunting license lol

It's much better than letting them sit there to rot. It can probably save a person enough money on food to make up a decent portion of what was paid to repair a broken headlight or dented bumper that the accident might have caused. :)
