“Hey, I need those!”
Califur 2008 was a blast! Personally, I had a great con, and there was always plenty to see and do. Of course, I spent a lot of time in the Dealer’s Den, meeting and commissioning artists! Yays!
Among these was Thornwolf, who put together this great piece of Xyk, baking away in the midday heat. Apparently, it’s so hot that his colors are melting away! Agh!
Actually, it was unseasonably warm that weekend, hence the inspiration for the piece – which, ironically, struck me while I was out buying the very Bristol it was drawn on!
