I named my catkids after currency. This one is Yen, and my other is Yuan. <3 They are status symbols amongst royalty or the wealthy, and are considered a good omen as they attract wealth. Usually the most successful merchants have one or two in their company to count coins, or keep up with inventories. It's very rare though.

Yen travels with Taper (my cyzlph) and keeps count of all the money he makes. Yuan belongs to Ryker's court and pretty much gets petted and causes mischief. :)
