So as I walked into the local market, I say the girl scouts selling cookies. This is how my thought process went down -> "Hmmm. Shortbread cookies would make a nice garnish... Ice cream perhaps?... it needs a sauce though.... A compote? Not strawberries.... been there done that.... something new? Tart....sweet.... RASPBERRIES!!!!!

So here it is, my fuzzy culinary creatures! Homemade raspberry and citrus compote over vanilla ice cream, garnished with shortbread girl scout cookies!
