Under my 99 Escort ZX2, one of few aftermarket mods. Here we see the exhaust hanging and coupling between a "cherrybomb" resonator (in red) coming straight from the header, and a "fart can" resonator (in chrome). This snug fitting stood a 1 hour road test including rolling over extra high speed bumps at the local bank without any visible damage, despite sitting fairly low. This "upgrade from stock exhaust results in maybe a few extra horseys and a lower sound to the engine with crackling or "farting" when the engine rpm falls.
