In this gorgeous illustration piece, we see our favorite mare on a walk about town! It's a beautiful summer day, and the light breeze makes it a perfect time to be out and about in light summer clothes and with a raspberry iced tea. She certainly seems comfortable, too, free of her usual worries about her height and build making her stand out in a crowd. Maybe it's just the lovely weather, or perhaps her recent date with Kaput's handsome gentleman Ottersprey has helped with her confidence! Whatever the reason, nothing can get her down today!
This is the first piece where we've really gotten to see Jessi's smile! I think those big horse teeth of hers are positively endearing. How about you guys? ^^

I like Jessi's fashion sense, thats for sure. That dress may look a little... retro. A hearkening back to a classical age... I dunno what I'm trying to say XD It looks good in an older way.
Rawr, the phrase "Never look a gift horse in the mouth" comes to mind as I look at that smile :P I know she's worry free right now, and I'm not trying to get her down, but she should be a little careful, lest she give away her age XD I'm so terrible! DX

It was fun to work with Bees to come up with what Jessi would be wearing. I think the results are quite fetching on her, and I'm not normally a fan of sundresses. This one is just different enough from the usual, I think.
My goodness, Jessi's already self-conscious about her height and build. The last thing she needs is to start worrying about those teeth, too. ^_~ I actually had to go read up on what you're talking about, though! I was familiar with the appearance of horse teeth, but I didn't know there was a (sometimes touch inexact) art to estimating their age through their appearance. I learned something today!
