As some of you know (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/470569/) I've been feeding squirrels and other critters on my patio for over a year. A couple times last year I woke up to find one of my feeders knocked over. At first I thought it was strong winds, but about a month later I found out IT WAS AN RJ! A RACCOON! WEEE! Okay. Raccoons are vermin and pests and are a general nuisance, but I was excited as hell to have one visit me. Since then I've been trying to get pictures of him, but he'd always come around 4 AM and he purposely picked mornings when I'd be hung over and unable to work a camera, and when I did have a camera set up, he'd never come.
Then he disappeared for the winter and I hadn't seen since...
...until two days ago when he woke me up around 6 AM defending *his* squirrel food box against some unknown adversary. Then, last night around 10 PM while I was folding clothes HE CAME!! Of course he knocked over a couple flower pots to get to the feeder, but I'll forgive him for that. Anyhow, I almost broke my neck twice running up and down my stairs taking about 100 pictures of him and HIS FRIEND!!! (a second RJ briefly stopped by while the first had his head in the food box). About 22 of the images were worth keeping. Here are four of the best ones.
TWO RJ'S!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Sorry for the general blurriness/graininess, Big Foot/UFO-like quality of the images, but the only light was a 40 WATT bulb and these were taken with about the fastest lens I have.
Taken with a Nikon D50 and Sigma 105mm f/2.8 lens, 1/4 sec., ISO 1600. Images have been enhanced digitally to make the content visible.

Thinking about it, watching a raccoon eat a hot dog would be insanely cute.

Heh! That's really insane how the raccoons would come out in public like that begging for food. It's also insane how some of those boneheads commented. Urban raccoons are ALREADY dependent on society. Maybe ice cream isn't good for them. If it were me I'd go get some trail mix and throw it at them
