Let the unwatching commence.
I haven't been too vocal about my interest in MLP, I only dropped little hints here and there, but I don't know how many might have thought I would actually write anything about it, and for a long time I wasn't sure if I would write anything about it either. A large reason for this was because I don't have much interest in making my own pony characters (Terra Juno is technically a ponyfied version of a character I haven't used for anything yet (also I don't know about her name, I may have to retcon that in the future)), let alone enough to fill out a whole cast, which meant I would have to use the pre-established characters. The problem with this though is that I take characterizations very, very seriously, so if I was going to do anything with these characters I would have to make absolutely sure that they were as close as possible to the canon seen in the show. The original story idea I thought of was something far grander in scale, but plans for that one got kind of scrapped because of developments in season 3. So instead I decided to do something smaller - a more character-driven story, something that I almost would like to believe could actually be an episode on the show...you know, if the characters weren't anthro and didn't have boobs, which I debated over but ended up doing here because I work better with anthro.
All of that without actually talking about the story itself. This is the start of a short series about Rarity that's supposed to be about learning to be more accepting of other people's conceptions about what it means to look good. This part doesn't really have very much going on, it's just setting up the main portion that we're going to get into next time; I realized that the angle I decided to go for might be rather contrived, but I feel it's the best way to get to the end point in the way I want to. If you can't guess where things are going to go from here, you clearly haven't been reading my stories enough.
I always appreciate comments and critique but here in particular it would be beneficial, ESPECIALLY anything in regard to how accurately the characters and setting are portrayed.
My Little Pony is owned by Hasbro (and Lauren Faust?).

I'm going to be very disappointed if a future episode reveals that the Equestria equivalent of "Amazon" is something other than "Amarezon".
You can tell Rarity and Fluttershy are my favorites because they have the biggest tits.
