WHEN WAS THIS DOLL MADE?
late 2013
WAS THIS DOLL A PROTOTYPE?
these were not prototypes. The only "prototyping" is that the blue doll is the last clay sculpt she used for the raptor chick series. the rest are now cast from the blue's original sculpt.
COMMUNICATION
she was prompt, professional, and helpful when I asked questions regarding how they're made and if she'd be interested in using fabric from my personal collection.
DID THEY MEET YOUR DEADLINE?
I had no deadline but I think the turnaround was about a month.
HOW WAS THE ART DOLL PACKAGED?
both dolls were packaged exceptionally well. Very pleased
DID YOUR DOLL ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE?
both arrived in perfect condition
WAS YOUR DOLL SEWN?
both dolls were sewn. Glued parts are near impossible to detect.
IS YOUR DOLL FLOPPY STYLE OR ARTICULATED?
These are largly floppy style dolls with mild articulated parts mostly in order to keep the dolls posture and pose.
STABILITY, IS YOUR DOLL STABLE?
dolls are designed to sit on their rump. The blue one is a little top heavy due to the clay head. The resin doll is alot lighter so it sits easier.
DOLL DETAIL
The paint job on the hard parts AND body fabric is very well done. The airbrushing is very soft, can hardly tell its paint to the touch. The wings have a high attention to detail and are very soft. The eyes are home-made and give the doll alot of personality.
FABRIC DETAILING
*see doll detail*
MATERIALS
Materials used are highly durable. the clay parts are very well constructed. No breakage as of yet.
FINAL SCORE OUT OF FIVE: 5
WOULD YOU BUY FROM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND?
would buy from again and would highly recommend.
