Meh, reference picture or not, this is still super amazing! < ^.^ > I love her face so much, especially her mouth and eyes! Hair is great too, with the way it flows and I always love the two-tone style of it. I have to say the shirt looks great, wrinkled like that. And whee, details! I thought that was some kind of strap before, but now I can look properly I can see it's part of her body. Pistol is awesome and futury, and looks like the one you did before, which is great work on your part; I'm bad at consistancy like that :P Oh oh, and the holster looks great too. Basically I love everything I guess. :P But particularly how you have things flying about with her action pose. < ^.^ > Marvelous work, pumpkin <3
I agree with Stelardactek that this is an amazing piece. You gave her lots of added detail, but you also made her look like she is in motion. Well done.
This picture reminds me of your Spy Tsune picture, who had dodged Spy Tora's BE bullets but whose own bullets were about to hit their mark. While I haven't seen the results of that match, I did see that the characters showed a lot of realistic body motions and poses, especially when you look at the picture the other two were taken from.
You're a great artist. I hope you don't forget that.
NOTE: Tora, if you still feel like you were cheating by using reference pics, I hope the following gives you more to think about. You don't have to read it, but I hope it helps.
I read the comments above and it seems you think that using reference pictures is cheating.
It depends of how you use the reference pictures.
Did you just
1.) glance at it,
or
2.) trace over it?
If you traced over it, did you
3.) make a lot of noticable changes to the figure
or
4.) leave the trace of the figure mostly alone?
"you did most of the work"---1---2---3---4---"someone else did most of the work."
Which did you use? If you used a higher number, maybe practice until you can use a lower number?
I'm sorry for all the rambling, but I was trying to help you feel better or at least give you something to strive for so that you won't feel like you cheated.
I probably

like i said to blade, it's just that i felt like saying it cause people were saying great pose, and i agree i love the pose, that's what i used it :P, but it's just i don't feel i have the right to say thanks without people knowing that yes it looks good but i didn't do that part, everything else is me, so if someone modeled for me it would be the same, i'd say thank you , so and so model for me, it's kinda the same thing, i used the other picture as referance. just wanted to tall people that i geuss :P.... ^^
