"A universe devoid of all living things. Is it not what we both aspire for? The eternal stillness without even a whisper to echo in the sea of nothingness."
A long time ago, going back about 11-12 years now, I joined in a Mewtwo exclusive RPG forum called "Neo's Chat Closet". There were very few Mewthrees there, and the first RPG that was run was led by my now husband, where his primary character played was a Mewthree called "TheThirdMew". Decided to chuck Mewblade in there, and part of her personality that I slowly worked on and ironed out to perfection came through the viciousness of the RPG, that most of the devote Mewtwo owners avoided due to well, Mewthrees being Mewthrees: The sum of one type of psychosis or another, basically inflicting their misery on one another it seemed. In addition to a ragtag crew, there were a large cluster of enemy Mewtwos that were "possessed" by the soul stones, of what initially were called "Sleepers" who divided off into 13 variations of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Variations was a loose term, since the actual combination of all 13 was the full personality and power of the most stable one called "Death". (This still sounds completely stupid years later, but story time is fun time.) As combating most of these was difficult, Mewblade eventually started harvesting the corpses for the stones herself: her will being stronger, the power boost was adequate but at least not the dreaded Chaos bond. Kudos to TheThirdMew, it completely backfired, and Death's will (bring all 13 together, which she and a few others did) and then you have the ever so lovely combination of Mortis Letum Falcifer or "Death, Destruction and Annihilation Carrying a Scythe". It's basically Mewblade's capacity over amplified with Death's directive of a universe without. Way to defeat her? Stab her with Death's Sword and use a Gameshark..... Dumbest deus ex machina ever, but GM/DM's rules.
Image is the boy-styled image, where the whole thing, including background was inked. Then for added bonus, reduce the textures and try not to go completely psychotic on the shading. It's a weird art style and it looks cheap and juvenile, but you try inking that floor! There were so many tiles! Angle was also a problem, and redrew this a lot of times despite having this gesture sitting in my "giant sketchbook of gestures" for years. Originally wanted to use it for a more heavenly inspired Mewblade design, but sometimes it is nice to do weird, nostalgic fan art of sorts. I blame the Disney movie "Frozen" as well, since there is one bloody gesture everyone does with that chick in a cape, so it also was warped into this for that reason too. Otherwise, the image looks really uninspired strangely, and poorly drawn and rendered.
