yeah, I hated lawn mowing when I was a kid, too,
even though I had a gas-powered mower.
we had almost 1/2 hectare (about 1.4 acres) of mowable area in our property.
it was hilly and there were several trees and other obstacles,
and I almost invariably ended up mowing in 32+°C (90+°F) weather with blazing sun.
