So someone told me that though I was good I lacked originality. They challenged me to create my own Superhero, one relatively unique compared to other heroes. So after two days of design and redesign I came up with this guy: GOLEM.
GOLEM's back story starts all the way back in ancient Egypt... when extra terrestrial envoys came to earth and helped mankind advance towards a brighter future. Though successful, much of the alien's Metal was left behind in the desert. until the year 666 A.D. when a wealthy Jewish individual came upon the mysterious substance. Seeing an opportunity he brought the metal to his home and had the finest blacksmith's create a giant set of armor and a sword. Once the forging was complete he inscribed the words of life onto his forehead, bringing him to life. And so GOLEM was born... his mission, protect his master. And for many years he did well. Until he was lost in a great sandstorm in the year 683 A.D. trapped under the sand for over one thousand years he was finally rediscovered, not knowing his master was long gone. Now he travels the world searching for his master while struggling to adjust to this new world and his own lack of humanity.
Now for stats!
Height: 11.5-12 foot
Weight: 2 tons
Abilities: Super strength (up to 200 tons), flight (via alien Metal), invulnerability, speed (Mach 1), can reassemble himself if torn apart.
Weaknesses: No real physical weaknesses, but if the first symbol is removed from his forehead he will die.
So what do you guys think? could a hero like this stand on his own with the comics of today? Or am I wrong...
