This was a picture that was taken around 1996-1997 at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with an old film camera, Canon FtB (which being made in the early 1970's is older than I am, and it still works), with Ilford HP5 film, hand developed with Kodak chemicals, and burned and dodged to increase contrast.
This picture was a bit of a bitch to create, as I had to use both burn AND dodge here, overexposing some places and underexposing others to give it the contrast that it has. But it got a good grade in my photography class, so all those hours in that smelly darkroom were worth it!!

I don't have the chemicals any more, and even if I did, they're probably no good anymore.. It's been close to 30 years since I used any of it.. The tanks, enlarger and filters are at my parent's house in Ohio.. Well, they were 2 years ago last time I was up there.. I may be going up again in October, and I will have a look for them. I just have no idea where to get the paper and chemicals..
