I redid my living room last weekend... wall-mounted the tv, wall-mounted my center channel, built a new entertainment center... I felt like death afterwards, though... and the wires aren't a huge mess now! YAY!

I just listened to two Black Sabbath albums and Miles Davis' Sketches of Spain, and there is a lot of stuff that comes out that you don't realize was there... I am putting in a Sound Blaster ZxR into my computer tomorrow and, hopefully, will lower the noise floor even more since I am running fiber optic from the motherboard for sound right now :/

I have the x-fi titanuim HD and it's quite good for a plugin card! Not as good as a dedicated External DAC, but good xD. ZxR rocks! I wish you good luck with it xD. Let me know if you're pleased with it

Will do! Yea, I love Black Sabbath... since them twice live (once full crew, once with the Bill Ward replacement) and I still can't get enough

I can't wait for it... I have been waiting for months to get an audio card :/

my next digital upgrade will be an external DAC... I dunno I just... don't trust plugin cards that much, even though they're quite good... xD But that's just me.

Yea... I weighed the benefits/options and found a pre/pro I wanted (same maker as my current pre/pro and amps) and they kept delaying release so... their loss.
