Airbrushing it was fun! though brushing out the paint wasn't XD SO MUCH BRUSHING!

I didn't realize that using an airbrush still incurs a LOT of brushing. A little I understand, but a lot?!

In my case it removes most of the color, fyi. I use crappy spray paint (like Rustoleom? All I can afford atm) as well as dry brushing. But a LOT of brushing to get the fur back to near soft as before despite using an airbrush?! Wow! My sympathies!

WOW that airbrushing! If I might ask, what kind of paints do you use? Also I'm curious about what fur you use as well, it holds the color super well :0

I used createx paints :3 I saw on clockwork creature's blog they use those brand of airbrush paints!

The main one is a monterey mills fur from crscrafts.com called "honey bone" It's awesome! :D the white is from fabricempire. I believe it's a polar ivory fur!

Nice, I've used those but recently decided to try out using India Ink. Not sure how much of a difference there was haha, but I do need to test whether one holds up better to washing than the other.

Like I said on your other pic, this is probably the most beautiful leopard ever, the eyes make it feel so alive with personality.

When my money starts coming in regular, i'll have to go with you...you do felines to a point where my jaw drops. Especially the eyes, they make me want to fear and love the leopard at the same time. If you did such beautiful work like this on one of my characters, I would be in heaven...this work is what I crave for. THIS is why I love costuming, creators like you bring an animal alive and give us the opportunity to act/preform as such wonderful creatures.

I like how you picked a natural color for the eyes. Not blue or nothin. The pale yellowish color of the eyes really ties good together with the fur.

oh these eyes were ordered from van-dykes taxidermy :b I had them laying around haha. so I didn't paint them myself but they do really help with that realism!
