Transiting fuel supply. Some older armour vehicles would have a small supply of fuel internally, and a larger supply in external drum tanks. If they were to get jumped enroute, the drums would be jettisoned and the internal tanks would usually be enough to last through an engagement.

usually its fuel. Though I dont think so with Baneblades. Canonicly they are fusion or plasma drive so I dont think you can store either in barrels lol.

In the RTS rendition, the Land Raider's dual twin-linked dual laser cannons can beat a Baneblade on one-to-one combat. Not that it comes out of battle undamaged but there's no better anti-building or anti-vehicle unit in the game then the Land Raider, that alone turns all of my friends off of the RTS game, screaming "There's no way in hell a Land Raider can defeat the Baneblade!!!"

ultimate apoc has some good baneblade variants to use. Also it was, not sure if you seen the colored up version. Im going through old comments and such.
