Whether it was by magic curse or science gone wrong, Li had started to get hungrier than ever. She'd kept eating and eating, unaware of her growth, until her very body couldn't take it anymore, bursting open. Like an insect larva shedding its skin, her old body gave way to a new form, suited for eating: The Deviljho.
Still shedding her old body, Li's now unseen (due to her old head being stuck over her new one) eyes are also closed in delight, enjoying the sensations of growth and change. She's still herself, still capable of talking and thinking, but *hungry*.

Would her old head and form still be alive and respond to her controls or is it merely decorations now that hang from her still changing form?
Would she immediately turn to eat her own old self andnwhat would her reaction be to seeing her old self torn and deflated like such?

I have always imagined what would happen if her old skin and muzzle was still awake and conscious with her that point in time despite the massive dino snout that is there gasping for air. Such as if she was slowly drowning right up until she gasps for breath only that it is in now through her new maw.
Would she have eaten her old skin out of hunger or would she pause and observe it as if questioning "Was that actually me?"?
