Photographers are artists. It just depends on how you approach it.
For example, this is is a nice shot. The composition is decent , just the lighting could be better. Setting the camera do spot metering might have been better because now the sharp parts are underexposed. Or maybe taking it from a different angle with better lighting instead.
Also, why f10? You could have shot this wide open to really blow out the background and to get that nice bokeh effect. What lens did you use for this shot?
