A combination of lots of photos and painting, as a composition sketch for one of my classes. We have to paint this huge portrait of ourselves from our backview. C: That viny tree is one of my favorite trees here in the forest so I just had to add it..also this albino roe buck that I saw a couple of years ago in a zoo in Germany. C:

Might be (I couldn't tell), but the composition is great, the colors are vivid and it catch the sight. The rest is details.

from the thumbnail I thought it was a photo, then saw title "sketch", had to see full view to believe it... even at full view, as first commenter said, stunningly realistic and beautiful

I love those kinds of trees. They're like the banyan fig trees in Hong Kong that grew out of stone walls with roots that covered everything :D

This composition is a bit mysterious, somehow as albino animals are. Their sight feels pure and enchanting. I like how you point to the deer, and putting your favourite tree in the composition is a great idea. And those flowers are really charming. i hope you'll post a photo of your painting ^^
