This was a birthday card I made for my grandad (who regularly grew vegetables in an allotment) back in 2010, but I've never submitted it anywhere until now, so it's old-new art.
Please do not be concerned; he's 75 years young, and still kicking. He grows all sorts of vegetables in his back garden now, as the allotment was closed down in 2012. Much easier to manage.

Thankfully I personally live inrural area, in which people can both grow crops on fields and (most of the) backyards; having a allotment in this country of mine is "quite" expensive (avarage costs being 0,20 € / M² (per month I believe) + water, electricity, maintenance + ~2600 one-time-insurance-payment).
Many have mentioned Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter, I personally mention (perhaps younger) Kevin Declaw by Bill Holbrook.
