A creature from Final Fantasy 7, one of my favorite all time games. A lion like species with a flame tail, he reveals his real name is 'nanaki'. Since no species name was ever given, it sort of is how he is referred to. Red XIII I think was what Shinra named him due to the tattoo on his foreleg.
