i go to a contest evey year dressed to the nines as an elite, i change the rank, role and scarring but i've only been beat once and it was by a really friggin sweet iron man costume, after that i go watch rocky horror (still in the elite costume, just with a perm-fro and a corset on it's a big laugh to watch ) and thats my halloween

I'm worse, I do obscure costumes. This year I went as Kullervo, for the sake of a Finnish Mythology photo op - too short khakis, grief lines on my face, white chalk in my hair, and a broken knife - nobody except the friend dressed as Lemminkainen even noticed... XD

Same here, though water isn't metered where I live; instead, it comes out of the annual rates (which is paid by the property owner).

My showers take about an hour. Sometimes more

you neglect the option of men with long hair. And if we want to go literal on this, he is technically covered head to toe with fur. I've always thought that furries would HAVE to shower for longer in order to rinse out aaaaaall of the soap and shampoo. I mean a professional dog bath/brush/drying takes well over an hour.

or how about we consider the option of the fact this whole scenario takes place in a webcomic and none of it its real. more than likely he just needed a time to throw in there that sounded good enough to have done all that stuff in and 45 minutes fit the bill

Wanted to do something like this with Metroid, but it went nowhere because I'm lazy as fuck.

I'm actually developing a Mass Effect system from scratch that has GURPS-like inspiration. It takes place during ME3, though a bit aside from the game's plot. Combat-focused missions have a feeling similar to ME3's multiplayer, and it allows any race/class combination! :D

I run it at all the cons I go to, and love to have more players! I know you'll be busy, what with working the artist's alley/dealer's den, but, with the emergence of new online tabletop programs, I might just start up some online stuff! :D
