Bit off more than I could chew (in one day) with armor I've never tried painting before, insect never drawn before, working wholly in tablet, and on a single layer >.<
Hopefully get it finished tomorrow. Shield + sword effects may be wholly different. May burninate shadows into the armor, or blur shading together - not sure what I like best yet.

Well, that depends... Even insects tend to be a bit softer on the underside... and when you stand on two legs, that's usually what is exposed to your opponent.
Or maybe evolution (or a Scarab Lord) had other things in mind for this particular insect and so he lost much of his natural armor.
In any case, very nice work! Must be nice to be able to wield a two-handed sword and a shield :)
