I do have an idea, actually. Where I live, there is a bridge that's over 100 years old (built in 1909 if I remember rightly) and still in use today. Restricted to 5 metric tonnes though, but still capable of handling large quantities of traffic. my only beef is that, several years ago, they replaced the timber guardrails with the concrete no-post that's there today as well as paving over the timber deck.

Yup. I have pics of it too that I've posted to my FA. I did a trip down to Hope, just before the bridge was demolished. Also have some video that I STILL need to get off my camcorder.

I don't really know what you're on about. The world where these characters live has people (furred) and 'animals' (scaled), there are no people with scales and there are no animals with fur, cause that's how their species work. Whatever they have in their interenet and imagination is unlimited like ours, but that's stretching and non-important in this case.
