guess i'll post this here too since, why not.
So yeaah, I’ve been working on this off and on for awhile now. Like months now since I felt no need to finish it, since I didn’t plan on posting it. But now I’m here, fed up with working on it, and just throwing it up on this website. When I started this I just really wanted a mutated Eden interacting with Gem in a cute way, and then it ended up like this.
Story stuff, sorry for the rambling. This is Gem and Eden for people who are new here. Eden is a type of manufactured vampiric demon, and doesn’t normally look like this at all. He usually tries to keep his breakdowns under wraps by hiding away until his bouts of body horror pass, since most will kill him on sight if they knew what he is. Gem however eventually finds out about this in the story, and after that they get together and she helps him whenever she can with these messes. Through his episodes he will grow in size and power, going through immense pain as his body breaks and reforms to become better at killing Reapers. This is pretty early on in the transformation, but it’s at the point where it’s hard for him to change back easily. At this time he’ll have intense blood cravings and soon after be able to make immortals into mortals in his presence. This also effects himself, but he becomes much harder to kill as the transformation progresses. At this point the cuts on him and Gem are treatable since he’s not fully changed, but this isn’t at all a fun situation for them. Gem doesn’t really fear Eden at this point, but Eden is incredibly afraid of himself and hurting her, so he’ll usually be incredibly careful around her.
Gem is also a special case however, since Eden accidently embedded it in his mind not to hurt her due to his near constant paranoia of doing so. Everyone else however has a chance of becoming his meal if they get too close. Of course then he’ll cry over the fact that he just killed and ate someone shortly after though.
