i havent drawn thse guys in ages
Magiens are a distant cousin of the Luminette.
They are around three to four feet tall, give or take a few inches, and have feelers protruding from the bases of their ears and tails that act as receptors to magic. The feelers, which are a tad rubbery and covered in a velvety sort of fur, will flare up when in the presence of magic. This makes them useful tools to magicians and the like.
Magiens are also far more domesticated than Luminettes, treated more as pets than people, even by their cousin species. They're often kept in homes and shops as cuddle-buddies, and some may have their feelers clipped at young ages to prevent unwelcome accidents, as Magiens are capable of magic. They are, more or less, magical powerhouses, the gems that lie embedded into their tail feelers collecting magic around them instead of collecting sunlight for energy, as Luminette gems do.
The gems around the Magien's neck are completely obselete, and are more for show than anything.
