My final project for Survey of Western Art. Let’s just say this took a bit longer than child birth but was just as hard.
Our assignment was to transform a painting before 1700 into a style from the 20th century. I chose Art Nouveau and Caravaggio’s Bacchus. I’m so happy with how this came out, and I’m presenting tomorrow so fingers crossed my teacher likes it too.
Fact. I have never gone through child birth.

I quite like this actually! It's a good thought experiment, and I've always wondered what older pieces would look like it redrawn in a bit more of a contemporary style. It moth be interesting to see more pieces done like you've done them (like some of Michelangelo's stuff).
I'm also mildly amused that in the species category, there aren't humans...
