Questo è quello che sarà il nuovo potere ufficiale di John. Durante gli eventi di Sonic Unleashed, John venne sopraffatto dai demoni di Dark Gaia mentre tentava di scappare. Ma invece di morire o di avere un lavaggio del cervello, ottenne dei poteri da mutaforma, portandolo però ad avere questo aspetto mentre cala la notte. In compagnia di John demone, c'è una fatina di nome Kristie, che secondo l'autore sarebbe il suo personaggio trasformato in una fatina (simile a Chip), mentre secondo un nuovo progetto ideato da me e da furythehog (proveniente da DA), Kristie rappresenta la Gaia del Fuoco, una dei 4 Elemental Gaia.
