A part of my diploma in drawing class (like the anteater girl I posted some time ago). This photo was taken before the final critique, so there are a lot of things that got fixed, like her feet and that hand...also- that sock is red in real life, but my teacher sent me a grayscaled version of the photo *shrugs*.
I used a photo from an anatomy book as a reference for the body, as well as a photo from google for the head.
Looking back...I really regret that I didn't start working on it sooner. There are tons of things that could be done better, but...meh, with my current skills I'm rather happy with it, especially because I have difficulties in working on big formats. This one is 70x200 cm.

I get demolished when I work on large scales... I mean... I'll make a huge sketch just because I want a large image... and them I get pwned as soon as I start drawing it out. My hands refuse to cooperate... and I make the damn thing like... a quarter of the size it should be...
Yeah, me too! But for me the sketch is the most troublesome part- my sketches are messy anyway and on large scales...I kinda get lost after a while.
But I think I'm getting better. Not good enough but I feel more and more comfortable around 100x70cm lately and that's an improvement for me, when just three years ago I was limited to A4 only, hahahaha..

There's one more actually...a lemur. But I didn't like how it came out..looks more like a fox actually... but well, if I find the photo (I'm pretty sure I have it somewhere on my pendrive) I'll submit it anyway, haha...
And I really wanted to draw more....just...I kinda lack the inspiration lately. But in the future, maybe I will :3
Yes- I had to elongate the body for a better composition and my teacher figured it would suit the animal I tried to represent...haha, glad it worked out.
Again- I'm really glad that you like those as I put a lot of work into them...but looking at them now I wish I payed more attention to certain stuff...heh.
My teacher sent me a greyscaled version of the photo for some reason and later I wanted to take my own photos...but that didn't happen and I lost the chance, bleh ):
Thank you again!
