So my Panasonic AG - AC8PJ video camera came today. Its an investment into the hobbiest level of Videography. While the camera cost a lot more then I wanted to spend on a video camera its "cheap" in the regards that its half the price most entry level pro cameras go for. That being said, $1200 is somehows "Cheap"

But its big, and surprisingly well built. It handles nice but I need to get used to using a shoulder mount camera again. For its size it is lightweight but it still has heft to it and doesn't feel "cheap" like some reviews say. Maybe compared to a $10,000 4k camera it feels cheap. But that's like comparing gold to brass.

Haven't done any real shooting with it yet, The weather outside has been raining all day :/ I hope to use it this weekend but that all depends on the weather as well. The one drawback is it is NOT something easy to stow away if it starts raining...

This shot compares it to my other video rig, the Olympus PEN EPM - 2 which can just about fit INSIDE the lens hood if its detached. I intend to shoot video with both still, but now I have options. And if I bring it to a con It'll be dead obvious I'm recording video and not doing still photography...
