I didn't develop a complex technique or anything like it, but here is the first sketch of Cosmin I ever did. Doodling this kind of stuff for 8 months, so I'm still very green regarding this.
Did used to doodle characters like this like 7 years ago, but then I got so shamed from the output that I stopped and I can't find my output from then.
However since I'm noticing more and more people are liking my stuff and there was an admiring improval from a few months ago.
Agouti then and Agouti now is a rather notable example , and there were coloring deals from around November and December that I cringe really bad now.

My first character would be impossible for me to remember as I've actually been drawing with stories in mind since I was three. I'd draw and talk out my stories at the same time, and they were always about animals. I'd fill whole notebooks in short order this way.
Earliest character that I have any lasting record of would be 'Nolan the Bull Terrier' and there's a couple of my middle school comics in my Scraps section!

I remember Nolan. Definitely more cheerful than the generic badass-character stuff I was trying to do back in middle school. Every character had to either be so damn cool and smug, a total hardass or simply insane...
Now they're just bitter and resentful, like me :D
