Er, this is kind of a "I'm not dead" pic... I've been busy writing my master's thesis and hanging around in Helsinki at my friend's apartment. I'm sorry I haven't had the time to reply to some of your comments. I'll work on that during the weekend.
I'm planning on drawing a comic featuring the Charha cat. The setting of the story would take place in a certain "alternate universe" Paris circa a.d. 1480. This is a quick concept picture featuring captain Morgain Smith (above) and the villain of the story, general D. Keeble (below). They represent the sun cult with their armies of light as opposed to the cult of the moon, the mysterious and secretive faction of the Orient. You can guess which group Charha sympathizes with...
Heh, the background is horrible. But I'm sort of semi serious about the actual comic... I might even do it, I hope I will. =)

Hey, I'm glad you think so! I was so busy last week I didn't yet start to work on that color job we talked about, but I'll start coloring the picture tonight, if that's ok with you. I'll try to get it done by tomorrow, but unless I don't manage to get it done before tuesday I won't be able to continue working on it before friday since I'm going to spend some days in Helsinki writing my thesis.
I got lost in all that, but okay! Ya know, I actually tried my own hand at coloring something recently. I tried to teach myself, so as you can guess, the results could have been better. =p

I would be happy to color the picture for you, if you want. I've been a bit busy and disorganized, but I believe I've got things under control now. I've already kept your money hostage for quite a while and for that I apologize... ^^;;
It's no problem at all for me to color the picture - or if you happen to have something else in mind, I can draw you some linearts instead. I charge 15 dollars for those as well, which is the amount you have already paid.

Nothing really comes to mind, and I'd really rather not add to your workload. Just take it as part of the collab that I've asked you to be part of. Or keep it. Really, do whatever you want with it because as far as I'm concerned, I owe it to you for just being awesome anyways. =p
Helsinki is... a bit too noisy for me. But during my stay I bought a pair of red contact lenses and I fell in love with them. I might be going there again next week, 'cause my friend bought me a series of train tickets. Unlike me, she has a real day-time job and everything... ^^;;
heehee, I always am drawn to the evil characters, I dunno why. The villain in the comic I am working on is relly sexeh LOL Or I hope I make him that way ;)
Well I have to like be careful how I make his character in the comic. I am prolly rating mine PG13 LOL well more or less, parents don't need to watch their kids reading comics LOL but you get the idea right? Rated for teens and up :)

Keeble is the most stressed out character I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I think he has a high risk of several ulcers. The reason he doesn't have a slick black goatee is that he's actually teaming up with the "good guys"... He's the kind of law-enforcer who likes the enforcing a bit more than the actual law, if you know what I mean. ;D
Don't know why you do not like the background (the two characters are beautiful). I was watching Dreamwork's "The Prince of Egypt" last night and notice that the backgrounds there were all without lines and rendered much like paintings -- very much like how you have rendered this cover.
