Um, the top one is a set of 6 Faber-Castell brand brush pens (OfficeMax/Depot) and the bottom is purely copic products. (copicmarkers.com) Very expensive markers, but very much worth it if you're a really serious artist. I also use mostly Micron Sakura lining pens, (Michaels/Pearls) because they smudge the least when used with copics. Staedler smudges a lot, and I've never used Faber-Castell with Copics, though. I also use Prismacolor colored pencils sometimes, not so much anymore.

I can see the difference there. How do you do her spots because I want to try making some spotted creatures.

Yup.

I just make really fast circles, sometimes not closing them. It's a very sloppy way to do it, but works for me. Never a perfect circle, and I vary the amount of pressure on the marker as I make it.

Hmm....need to try that sometimes. It it possible to make circle similar in appearance as the ones on her via pencil?

No, the pencil lines are too thin to do it how I just described. You could draw the outline for the circl, taking care to keep it a single line, instead of sketchy, and then shade it in with pencil so it looks neat, instead of a scribbly circle.

Right? But make sure you do the outline really neat so that it doesn't look outlined ;3
