We adopted "Sally" (now Gemma) on 4.3.2014. We took her in to see Dr. Sakas today to have her spay stitches taken out. As we were leaving, a man brought in another, littler white pit. The gal behind the desk commented that they could be from the same litter.

I looked and the dog seemed familiar, VERY familiar. As I was talking to the man, I noticed that he had a CACC (Chicago Animal Care and Control) FOLDER under his arm. We talked, and I found out that he adopted HENRY from CACC on 4.4.2014, the day after we adopted Sally! Both pups were in CACC together!!! We considered Henry, but wanted a female pit.

We exchanged information and we will continue to keep tabs and have a few "play-dates" together!!!

How can you IMAGINE that these two pits from CACC would have the same Vet and come together at a "random meeting?!?" You have to understand that CACC is some 15 miles one way from my home and all the way into the heart of Chicago. And this guy lives 7 miles from the Vet's office, the opposite way from my home!
