As promised, a doodle of V2's sweetiepie, What's His Name. (Actually, I'm trying to decide if it's What's His Name, or What's his name. Silly, I know, but..)

The canada goose/raccoon griffin was a prolific child actor when he and V2 became email penpals. As time went on, however, the unthinkable happened, and his eyes began to cloud over with cataracts. By the time he was a teenager, the former child star was completely blind. Forced to retire from fulltime acting, he switched to doing voiceovers.

Once V2 heard the news that his former penpal had lost his sight, he tried feverishly to get back in contact with him. By chance, they finally got ahold of each other and met in person. And from that day, they were inseperable. What's His Name has never seen what his sweetie looks like, but neither of them care a whit; despite having a quirky, tongue-in-cheek bantering relationship, they're hopelessly devoted to each other.

You've prolly guessed that What's His Name isn't actually his name. The reason he goes by the moniker (even V2 calls him that!) is because when people see him in person, they recognize him as the former child actor he once was. And, when they hear his voice, they recognize it from the multitude of voice acting he still does. The usual reaction? "Oh! Hey! You're...oh, what's his name??" What's His Name gets a kick out of this and as a joke, insisted that What's His Name was his actual name. It snowballed from there. :)

Both V2 and I know what his real name is, but you'll hafta pry it out of us. :)

I'm definitely going to write that story about these two. I just need to let it become a little more solid in my head.

In retrospect, I'm thinking I'll prolly change the color of his muzzle to match the belly fur, to make the white mask markings stand out a bit more. Or should I not?
