Ahhhhh. Yeah I feel like I'm so obsessed with Marin right now. He's def one of my favorite characters of mine. I actually sent this to Mike last night cause he texted me and I was like "Hey! uh....this character I have been doodling today is based on you! don't worry he's awesome!" then I was like "oh god hes prolly like wtf what a weirdo" but he texted me back and said they were amazing and he loves it, and being awesome was quite a leap from himself. I was like "I ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU WERE AWESOME" anyway it was a moment, a nice moment of weird validation. Its funny, I always base characters off of people in my life and I don't think I've ever had the opportunity to tell the people who inspired the characters about the characters themselves. In some cases I do have the opportunity but would rather not (like in Charlotte's case). Madison is from someone I no longer talk to, same with Tatsuya, Gabriel is slightly based off an old friend, Jeremy is kind of more a personal expression of myself. Anyway, what im trying to say is I was just happy I got to show Marin to Mike, I'd like to show him more but I feel past this point it would get weird explaining his whole back story especially because of the similarities (Mike and Marin's mother both died when they were teenagers, similar last names, bands they like, personality traits, they both have a beauty mark under their left eye...) so yeah its pretty close in some areas. God I'm writing you a story. okay I'm done. I MISS YOU and I totally do want a collab page for us! UGHH NAME NAME NAME... I'm not sure I gotta think! x__x
