One area of improvement, and on I highly suggest, is learning how to make the scanned lineart into a transparent layer - so there's no white. That means you can make a separate layer behind to so it looks like you're colouring behind the lines and won't have to avoid them like you did here =P It helped me no end and really sped up my colouring =)
