I personally see the show as bare bones. It is just 'okay'. There are some cute lessons to be learned among cute characters. Typical cartoon.
The actual flesh, blood and life of the show lies in its fancontent. The stories, music, headcanons, etc I mostly just watch the show so that i can feel more involved in the fanmade creations, which are more suitable for adults.

I love this POV, with that slimy tongue sticking out like a welcoming carpet to that drooling maw. <3
