I did actually laugh when I read the shop sign :D
Just how much time do you spend on Bentley's tattoo in each cell it appears in in comparison with the rest of the cell? o.O

It depends on how much of the tattoo is visible. I have it down to a process, but the tattoos probably account for about 25-30% of the coloring time in any panel where they appear wholesale.

My eyes are always drawn to Bentley's tattoo and how much detail you put into how it matches the curve of his arm and the colouring.

I see the hidden message (Bent Wide Open) if you remove the (&) symbol and replace the closed sign with open. Its brilliant and i love a good pun in this awesome series.

Awesome page - yay story development!

One thing though, if the window decal was printed to be viewed from the outside it would actually be backwards when seen from the inside like in that bottom-left panel, same with the open/closed sign.

I'm glad things are starting to look up again. When tragedy strikes, I always think it will just get worse, but I'm glad that I'm usually wrong. :) Still waiting for that moment when the other guy finds out Grant's secret......

The more I see of Bent's tattoos...the more they stand out to me as possibly being related to religious or mystical symbolism. Which...may explain some of why he isn't freaked out by Grant not being phased by a knife would.
