So I've been taking a painting class this semester and this is my first oil paint picture. the assignment was to pic out a couple of real life pictures and combine them an a surrealist fashion.

I decided to base my pic off of an old picture my late sister did where she draw a leafless try with smoker lungs for roots. I had about 12 hours total to do this in two weeks time so I ran out before I could finish the mountains. while I like the look of oil paint, it's definitely difficult to work with as it takes days to dry.

I felt some of you might want to see this just as a change of pace to all the other pics I've been doing.
