How Keiko once looked like, so sick we almost lost him.
without spirit, dead eyes, skinny, suffering from servere allergy.
And Keiko as he is now, fat fluffy and happy !!
today now living with his allergy under control.
I sometimes look back at this picture of him, to remind my self why it is so important for us to hold his allergy under control.
I never wish to ever see that face on the left.. ever again.

5 types of grass, tree's, house mites, dust, food mites (those in dry dog food)
he lives on raw meat with vitamins, can only get special treats thats 100% meat and nothing put into it.
and every 4 weeks he has to get a hyposensibiliserings injection to hold it down.
he also suffers with fungle infection in he's ears in the summer with all the grass and such, so there we have to check he's ears almostr every day to make sure to see if it starts up, so we can get it away fast.

luckely now that we know all of theese things, and that we been through summer 2 times with it now, I now know all the signs to look for and can quickly react so he doesnt get sick.
the only thing i cant do anything about is that he does scratch himself a bit more in the summer than a normal dog would.
we bath him reguarly in allergy shampoo, have pills for him if he gets a bad week of scratching, it goes in and stops it.

he has litterly been trough hell that poor guy
and i couldn't touch him or look at him for 2 month, so much did he hate me after what he had been through.
luckely he came back, and i hope i never ever have to see that face again... other than this picture as a reminder of why this damn dog is amazing, that he had enough fight in him to come back up again.
