Ladies an Gentlecolts, welcome to Manehattan Zoo, my name is Cobalt and I´ll be your guide today! And my little friend here is Smoothie, he´s a Strawberry Owl we rescued him a when he was a baby and now is very friendly with all the people who came to the zoo, so he will be our partner in todays trip. Very impressive. I like how he has that distinct "chin" that shows how he is a stallion instead of mare.
This work is a lot of fun in so many ways. The image is so real to what one might see at an actual zoo. The colors blend great and bring out Cobalt quite well as he goes about doing what he loves to do.
The bonus that makes this work a total win is the story / statement by Cobalt. Reading it and looking at the picture make you really feel the sense you are about to start a delightful, guided tour. I can hear a voice for him and see the Strawberry Owl looking about and "Hoo-Hoo"'ing.
