Because in this year so far, looking back at my crap, I have not done anything remotely awesome. Or much art at all. And the guys at work and various people have been egging me on to post stuff on art forums and blah.
And like hell I was gonna post my usual crap.
So, I planned to fix that. 4 weeks later, and that's one down, 5 more to go.
And yes, that's Slimer, as a gelatinous cube.
Dan Akroyd is going to kill me if he found this

I don't know what parody laws cover, but it's pretty obvious who this is base off and it might infringe ever so gently on copyrights, just enough that I think it's not really worth trying it out unless someone can definitively prove it otheywise.
Then again, how has Mad and Cracked! survived this long without Columbia Tristar and Fox sticking it up their asses?

D&Dbusters - Excellent use of pre existing monster for slimer!
Now I'm trying to figure out what their secretary would be XD
Probably a mage/scholar, with an enchanted item to talk to people over long distances. And a scroll that requires no pen but buttons to press to scribe.

Good sir, you truely rock. A most excellent fusion of the Ghostbuster franchise with high fantasy.
And speaking from the cuff Somehow I think Dan Akroyd would not be displeased at this version of the Ghostbusters team. After all the man was a professional comedian before he became an actor and writer.

The first word to come to mind when I saw this was "Steampunk" and verily you should go forth and inform http://www.brassgoggles.co.uk/brassgoggles/ at the very least of this portrait!
Ye Ol' Spirit Trappers!
This is a wonderful idea, I love how you took the aspect of the Ghostbusters and gave them a medieval twist. I especailly like their ghost 'traps' and their Proton...er...magic staffs XD.
One again this is a wonderful, if not hilarious take on the Ghostbusters.

"I must beseech ye, let not thy spirit paths mingle and twine lest there be dire consequences."
"Seest thou yon Twinki? Plex thy mind but a moment on such a confection spanning vast leagues cross the furthest reaches of the black forest and thou dost consider but a fraction, the merest mite of the demonic powers entrapped within this contraption."

This fills me with so much love of my nostalgia for both Dungeons & Dragons and Ghostbusters. Hell, growing up, The Real Ghostbusters instilled in me the whole 'I ane't afraid of no ghosts' motto into my head, making me feel a bit more brave about the supernatural. This is a awesome combination of the two, and a wonderful homage to them. You have not only won the internet, but made my day as well.
