So these religion protester guys are always at conventions, whether it's anime, comics, furry, etc. Some of them are angry, and get into arguments with congoers, but I wanted to show them that the convention attendees are good people just trying to enjoy their weekend.
I decided to make it a personal mission to get them to share a friendly hug, and needless to say, it went better than expected. My friend
axelthemoogle took these photos, and it really interested me to see this guy's bitter expression turn to a genuine smile. I think this simply shows the power a little act of silly kindness. :3

And people say WE need to get a life. It's those people that make me glad I'm an atheist.
And it's cool that you were brave enough to give one of those people a hug, but sadly. One hug won't stop them for doing this. Just grabbing attention. Me, I just ignore them. The more we ignore them, the better they learn to stop since nobody will listen.

You're nicer then me. I threw a drink at one of the idiot protestors who was harassing people as they walked into the SD Comic Con. Like, they were being EXTREMELY rude. It was one of the "God Hates such and such" signs.
I told him to shut the f*ck up, and threw a drink in his face. xD
I then snatched his sign away, ripped it in half, and shoved it in the garbage.
