A cutesey picture of Headlight and her (now ex) boyfriend, March Younger. Headlight actually lost her first boyfriend, a Shaymin, because she idolized March and was training with him. A few months after this fallout, she and the Riolu started dating.
Their relationship had its ups and downs. When Headlight met March, she was a bad-tempered ornery misanthrope, her nose always buried in her backpack. She was targeted constantly for afterschool bullying, and being a so-so fighter, was protected by her Pichus, Houghton and Mifflin, who eventually evolved to keep up with her fights. March was a bit of a bully, hated and feared. He originally started hanging around Headlight to aggravate her first boyfriend, but eventually decided he liked her, and liked teaching her.
Headlight, under March's tutorship, became a balanced fighter and started to open up, but only to him. And March found less time to cut class, smoke and get into fights with the Pachirisu to occupy his time. He even started buying clothes and food for Headlight, who's family was so broke at the time that they could barely eat. The two of them were inseparable. They lived in their own little world, where no-one else was allowed to visit, and March even evolved.
Then, shortly after graduation, March went missing. There was no letter, no warning, and the Lucario was presumed dead. And on that day, part of Headlight died as well. She buried all but one of the outfits he gave her, she took out her piercings, and she grew out the fur on her tail.
Recently, though, a melancholy Lucario has showed up around the PCA. He's commonly seen skulking about, and despite staff effort, shows no signs of leaving. There is no graffiti, no damage to property, and no students seem to be bothered by him. However, those who have seen him say he has the wry look of someone who's waiting.
