I was at the Double Tree Hotel (Formally knows as the Red Lion, often called Dead lion) in San Jose California for Pantheacon. However I have also been at this hotel for Many years of Bay Con, Star Quest and so many other conventions mostly Sci/fi related. The hotel is used to odd folks dressing up having fun. NO matter what con is there, the rules are always the same. Floor one and two are the party floors and always have food, drink and often times little souvenirs. There is that secret time warp corridor that seems to skip a floor when going in. No matter what the name of the con is, everything like con ops, security etc is always pretty much in the same place. How strange it is to feel like going to a hotel is much like going 'home'.
