ahh new species yaass. These little guys are called Lumiphylls (loo-meh-fils) and are a companion species to pumpernickel-parade's species' Bunblossoms. Please note that do you not need to own a Bunblossom to purchase one -- they can be found in the wild on their own, too, usually sporting a viscous sundrop on their heads instead of the buns!
If the winner does own a bunblossom, I will add it to the drawing for an additional fee unless AB'd in which the addition will be free. Otherwise the adopt you receive will simply have a nondescript dew drop on its head. Note me if you have any questions about this!

:: SPECIES INFO ::
Lumiphylls and Bunblossoms share a symbiotic relationship in the wild. In return for protection and the occasional nourishment, Bunblossoms collect and convert sunlight into a nutrient-rich ooze while nesting atop the head of a Lymiphyll, usually on a leaf or some other type of flora. It will then sit in a body of water (a small pool, a cup, etc) and release these nutrients into the newly filtered liquid, turning it somewhat viscous, which the Lumiphyll will then ingest as its main source of nourishment. Since this is a lengthy process, Lumiphylls only need a scant amount to survive, and they store the excess sunlight infused liquid in an amber-like sac embedded in their chests. Because of this they do relatively well during long winters and seasons in which resources are scant. The sac glows faintly during the day and prominently at night, and has a faint hypnotic aura about it which will soothe sleepy Buns and discourage predators.
