Awesome, I used to watch the show all the time. My favorite is the oddball special, The Raccoons and the Lost Star. Bert's bent nose always kinda bothered me though.

Bentley, George and Nicole have that same characteristic. (That's Lisa's brother and parents. All 4 are minor characters, however, so you'd have to do some Internet searching if you want to know who they are.)

Always nice to see them.

You might be right there, though we did actually see the whole white underbelly in 1987.

Ah yes you can find quite a few of these on the old Morningstar Canadian DVD's and as special features on the British Region 2 sets as well.

Still nice find.

I think that was one in a set of rough frame animations that appeared as an extra on the Morningstar DVD's as an Easter egg, well I say that because there was at least one I can remember from those DVD's, still it is an interesting find by any means.

Oh, I loved this show.

Even though I first heard of it only 3 years ago, I've seen it through. And I was fascinated and nostalgic n stuff! X3

It's certainly a fun show, even if some episodes do show it to be a product of it's time.

Oh wow! :) The evergreen standard news room. It's awesome to see that you've gone back to drawing these guys again. :) It looks like the episode, "Opportunity Knocks". Ralph the editor and Bert writing "Bert's column". I still know that episode when I watched it on YouTube. I like the pink singlet on Melissa especially when I found it fun to draw Melissa in her pink singlet on my coloured Raccoons fan artwork.

I could picture my Alex Fox in the evergreen standard news room saying to the three Raccoons, "I'd like to help you three with your newspaper printing job." Ralph: "Do you know anything about printing newspapers?" Alex: "Yes of course. I did desktop publishing in technical college in Newcastle New South Wales back in 1994."

One of your friends mentioned the laptop computer in front of Ralph (which I didn't notice when I looked at this artwork at this minute). Coincidentally, for the past twelve months, I've always wanted to write a fan fiction story of the Evergreen Standard news room upgraded to 2010s technology. I will get round to do that eventually. :)

I looked at the newspaper carefully at this minute and I suddenly saw that there's a photo of you in the newspaper as well. (Keeny Fox in the column photo). Oh wow! That's awesome. :)

The Evergreen Standard: Setting a double standard since 1985!

My interest in these series has waned quite a bit in the past years (probably because I wrote SO much Raccoons fanfiction eventually one starts to get a little bored and wants to move on to other endeavors), but it's still a lovely little show. Can't say I'm all that excited about it getting rebooted, though...reboots really have the tendency to go either way. For every successful one there's one that belongs in a trash heap.

And no matter what I will always find Ralph/Melissa to be a MAJORLY underrated couple. My OTP, here They're just so lovably sweet!

Yes they are sweet :) I am keen to see how the reboot goes ^^.
